Accessibility: Unknown Rules: There are a variety of rules at the Chugach State Park, concerning everything from horses, pets, firearms, vehicles, quicksand, gold panning and more. Please contact the park for more specific information. Directions: From Glenn Highway, take Eklutna Exit at Mile 26. Turn toward mountains and follow park signs 10 miles on gravel road to Eklutna Lake and campground. Then begin at the trailhead parking lot, cross the Twin Peaks Creek Bridge and take a right onto the Lakeside Trail. This trail begins at mile 10.5 of the Lakeshore Trail.
