| Facilities: The Denali National Park & Preserve has 6 campsites that contain over 200 individual camping sites; each with their own facilities. Best Time To Visit: Denali National Park & Preserve is open year-round to visitors. Fees: An admission fee is charged to enter the park. Accessibility: Most restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Savage Cabin Trail is wheelchair accessible. Some tour and shuttle buses are accessible please advise staff of needs when making advance reservations. The Visitor Center orientation program is open captioned. Rules: Permits are needed to stay overnight. Directions: Denali National Park & Preserve headquarters is located along Alaska Route 3, the George Parks Highway, approximately 240 miles north of Anchorage, 125 miles south of Fairbanks, and 12 miles south of Healy. Denali Park's mountaineering headquarters is located in Talkeetna, approximately 100 miles north of Anchorage.
