| Facilities: There are no known facilities at Cooper Creek South Campground. Cooper Creek South Campground does provide firewood when possible. Best Time To Visit: The campground is open May through September. Fees: An admission fee is charged. Accessibility: There are eight handicapped accessible campground sites at the Cooper Creek South Campground. Rules: Maximum RV size is 45 feet. Bears are in the area; keep all unattended food inside vehicles. Maximum stay is 14 nights. Directions: From Anchorage, go south on Seward Highway to Sterling Highway. Turn towards Soldotna at the Y. Cooper Creek Campground is at milepost 50.7 of the Sterling Highway on the opposite side from the river.
