Clam Gulch, as the name implies, is famous for the hundreds of thousands of razor clams harvested annually from the sandy beaches adjacent to the State Recreation Area.
Situated on the bluffs overlooking scenic Cook Inlet, the recreation area offers visitors a panoramic view of the Aleutian Mountain Range and its three tallest peaks; Mount Iliamna, Mount Redoubt and Mount Spurr.
This campground has 116 individual camping sites.

Facilities: Restrooms, water, a covered picnic area, and fire rings are provided.

Best Time To Visit: This campground is open year-round.

Fees: An entry fee is charged.

Accessibility: Restrooms and drinking water are accessible.

Rules: There are a variety of rules that apply when visiting any of the Alaska State Recreation Areas. Please contact the state park for more detailed information.

Directions: Clam Gulch State Park is 18 miles north of Ninilchik and 23 miles south of Soldotna on the Sterling Highway.
