The Bertha Creek Campground is a small loop campground with 12 individual camping sites suitable for vehicle camping (no RV's) and tents. This campground is nestled into a small canyon in the Turnagain Pass. The surrounding vegetation consists of low shrubs, grasses and cottonwood trees.

Facilities: The Bertha Creek Campground offers a vault toilet, a hand driven water pump, a dumpster, picnic tables, fire rings, and bear lockers.

Reservations: No reservations are taken for the Bertha Creek Campground.

Best Time To Visit: The campground is open only from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

Fees: An overnight camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: There are a variety of rules at the Chugach National Forest, concerning everything from horses, pets, firearms, vehicles, mudflats, gold panning and more. Please contact the Ranger Districts for more specific information.

Directions: Campground is located 61.5 miles south of Anchorage along the Seward highway.
