Leading over a low ridge between Halibut Cove and the Grewingk Glacier, this 1 mile trail provides a popular loop with the Glacier Lake Trail. The trail switchbacks through steep, forested terrain and accesses the Alpine Ridge and Lagoon Trails. Cliffs prohibit hiking the beach from the trailhead to the Right Beach Campsite, boat transport is necessary.

Rules: There are a variety of rules at the Kachemak Bay State Park, concerning everything from private property, pets, firearms, vehicles, mudflats, gold panning and more. Please contact the Ranger Districts for more specific information.

Directions: Access to the park is by boat or airplane, as there are no roads to the park. Air charters, water taxi services, and boat rentals are available in Homer.
