The Riley Creek Campground is located across from the Visitor's Center at the entrance of Denali National Park. This campground is accessible by car and offers 100 sites, some of which can accommodate motor homes, as well as three handicap accessible sites. There is no water or electrical hook-ups (for motor homes) at any campground in Denali National Park; however, Riley Creek does offer a dump station.
There is a maximum of 8 people, 2 vehicles (passenger cars, not motor homes, space available) or two tents per site. Site assignment is on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival at the campground. You will, however, need to check in at the visitor center prior to going to the campground to select you site.


Facilities: There is water from mid-May through early September only. Flush toilets and pay phone available.

Best Time To Visit: Open year round.

Fees: Camping fees are charged.

Accessibility: There are three campsites that are handicap accessible.

Rules: There are a wide variety of rules concerning camping in the Denali National Park. Be sure to stop in at the Denali National Park & Reserves visitor's center for these important rules and safety precautions.

Directions: Denali Park's headquarters is located along Alaska Route 3, the George Parks Highway, approximately 240 miles north of Anchorage, AK, 125 miles south of Fairbanks, AK, and 12 miles south of Healy, AK.
