Quartz Lake State Recreation Area is a 600 acre park which often attracts large crowds due to the variety of recreational opportunities available. The recreation area borders two lakes and has facilities adjacent to the lakes to accommodate these crowds.

Facilities: Quartz Lake State Recreation Area provides water, restrooms, picnic sites, and a picnic shelter. Major services are available in North Pole and Fairbanks (15 miles away).

Reservations: Unknown

Best Time To Visit: Operating months vary by weather. Please call the Ranger to determine the park's operating season.

Fees: Various fees, including day usage, overnight camping, and use of the boat launch may apply.

Accessibility: The Quartz Lake State Recreation Area provides a handicap accessible fishing dock.

Rules: Do not leave unattached boat trailers in the boat launch parking lot.

Directions: Quartz Lake State Recreation Area is ten miles north of Delta Junction and is reached by a three-mile road at mile 277.8 of the Richardson Highway.
