Accessibility: Unknown Rules: Trail is closed to saddle/packstock from April 1-June 30 and motorized vehicles from February 16-November 30. Boil surface water at least 5 minutes before drinking. Winter travel is unsafe and not recommended due to potential avalanche hazard beyond mile 2. Directions: At Mile 23, Seward Highway, turn east into Ptarmigan Creek Campground.
